CBAM Reporting

CBAM Reporting

The CBAM regulation introduces an import tariff, initiating a transitional reporting phase from October 1, 2023, to December 31, 2025. During this phase, quarterly reporting of direct greenhouse gas emissions is mandated for all product categories, alongside indirect emissions for electricity, fertilizers, and cement products. For global companies operating outside the European Union (EU) and producing iron and steel, aluminum, electricity, cement, hydrogen, and fertilizer products, complying with the new Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) presents significant logistical, reporting, and financial hurdles when importing into EU countries.

We offer a comprehensive support service to ensure your compliance with EU CBAM requirements. Our assistance encompasses various activities aimed at preparing your organization for these new obligations, navigating the transition period, and ensuring compliance once the full regulation is implemented, including provisions for purchasing CBAM certificates.
